Tx, totally agree. I think it warns you before things get critical, for sure. During my long ownership thus far (12 years), I've had the level drop from MAX but still remain w/i the acceptable range, and not once was there a warning to top-up *knock wood*. I've read other members burning oil like crazy but I never had that, so here's hoping I don't need to go through the hassle of buying some oil and that it can wait until my next oil change.
