When it got "cold" (40F) in San Diego last year my car's roof started creaking a little. The dealer cleaned and lubricated the seals and that made the creaks go away.
Probably different from your situation with actual cold weather, but might not be made to make sure the seals are checked and lubricated anyway next time your car is in for service
