As noted, according to the dealer it does. I'm simply repeating what he told me when I asked him. Perhaps it is a Canadian thing (hence my entry of CA, vs. Comfort-Access CA).
When I get a moment, I'll open up the fob and see if the battery is a "CR" type.
It also stores seating position, mileage information and all sorts of other goodness for the SA to see.
