Location is under the glove box. Remove 3 Phillips head screws (all in a line near - you really can't miss them they are the only ones down there) and slide plastic access cover back towards the seat. Same filter as earlier E85 & E86 Z4, same cover, and same filter removal/installation as on this video except no metal box to remove. Both the filter cover and the access cover are a bit of a pain to replace due to the gasket and carpeting respectfully. Takes about 30 minutes being careful.
