Inside the city, I drive with the roof down even on cold 40F evenings. The first time I tried it I was very surprised that it was not too cold. There is a huge difference in comfort between walking outside, and driving with the roof down in a car with heated seats, blowing nice warm air at you. Sometimes you gotta try it to believe it!

And even if you have to put on a hat, I still think it is worth it. The stares you get from freezing pedestrians are just priceless.
It's not the temp that is the issue, it is the daily rainfall, as in nearly every day, all day.
