I find some of these comments about brake torqueing interesting due to the fact that the car keeps a record inside the ECU about the cars usage profile. For example BMW only warrant the use of launch control on the M series of cars to 5 during the whole warranty window. After this even if the car was still in warranty and anything failed then it was the buyers responsibility and very very expensive. Why does BMW do this? because the strain on components during a launch is massive, just because the car can do it does not mean it is good for the car!!!!
So the guys that insist on doing it make sure you don't own the car when it fails, even if in warranty!!!!!!! As with all things it is a person's choice!!!
