I have had this issue since I have had my car... same deal. Dealer could not replicate the issue and did not replace the parts when it was under warranty.
The only thing I could think causes this to happen is if you open the door, sit in the car and do not start the car while leaving the door open for an extended period of time will cause the A/C to die.
Solution: Suck it up and drive in 115+ weather here in AZ without A/C or leave the car closed for hours and come back to a hopeful reset and NEVER sit in the car, leave the door open and not start it.
