The reason i tried this is since i purchased the car secondhand from a BMW dealer, the car has always felt a bit lacking in normal mode, a bit flat on acceleration. Obviously have no idea how it was treated by the previous owner. So tried this procedure and it has made a difference. My car is a 23i so you guys in the states that can afford to run the bigger cars wouldn't appreciate the bit more poke we can get from the 200hp car
