This thread is in regards to the low pressure fuel pump that is in your gas tank. I have a 2010 that was built in October and I had a faulty low pressure fuel pump that I recently had replaced. I don't know if this issue has been resolved in the 2011's, though I hardly think so as the 2011's were in production only months after the 2010's. I haven't heard of a 2011 with this problem yet. I noticed the humming after seven months of ownership.
The 30i's do not have a high pressure fuel pump.
