Also, there was a BMW engineer that came out a while back and said the N54 can handle either e85 or standard gasoline just fine. The issue is the low pressure fuel pump can't keep up with the high pressure pump so stock, you can only run a few gallons. Once that's upgraded though, you can go full e85
