So I finally hoisted the car and saw for myself that the transmission was indeed leaking. Replaced the oil pan/counterscrews/gasket and got a tranny fluid flush for 5 litres. I read somewhere that the capacity was 9.5 litres? However, they figured to be safe they'll just replace what was drained.
Anyway, I hate asking million questions and also forgetting to ask some key questions....they should know what they're doing, right? I assume they know to top up in addition to replacing what was drained since I did have a leak. Went to a BMW dealer so have 2 yrs warr....worst case my tranny blows up and I get a new tranny? LOL.
Anyway, any words of assurance would be appreciated. Of course will ask dealer again but wanted opinions of fellow members here.
