I was a hardcore Windows 7 Pro, and it's still an incredibly stable OS, but Win 10 Pro has been bulletproof for me. I have recent machines, and updates never take more than just a few minutes.
And I agree with the above posters: Windows 8.1 was a poor OS. Couldn't wait to get rid of it.
