I feel ya on the ethnicity thing. I have been in similar style situations (more on religion - even though Im not religious just what religion I was born into). I personally would date someone from any ethnicity IF i was physically attracted and mentally to them. Everyone has their preference etc. I have dated girls I wasnt attracted to physically and it got old fast. Anyways don't sweat it dude there will be many more chances. Or hell you could move down here to Houston... there is a LOT of inter-racial/ethnicity dating going on. Ive actually had a girl of my own ethnicity turn me DOWN because she only dated a different one (kinda like your situation but opposite in a way).
But hey it could be worse dude... I seem to get rejected a lot period lol. I guess my short avg looking ass needs to stop trying to hit on the models and millionare girls lol. Or maybe I need to get some "game" lol.
