I went Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 because they were best available when I needed some in a hurry (down to the canvas on the rear RFT on the inner edge.)
I have not looked back on grip or wear, including at the track. They give a lot of feedback on traction.
About the only tyre I would consider when time comes to replace them is the Pirrelli P Zero as used on the M3.
