However, if I was in your situation I would go with BFGoodrich g-force Rival, or Bridgestone RE-11A, or Dunlop Direzza ZII. This would let you keep the stock staggered size, or maybe go to 235 front and 265 rear
The Michelin PSS is a nice tire but there are many other choices that provide more dry grip and better heat resistance, so I would personally go to another brand, rather than take the slightly less rear contact patch

I have 245/45's on my 17" and do not see any issues with them so far after having driven over 7K miles on them.
