I have the same concern but i still went for one. I haven't installed mine yet since it's still 12 degrees Celsius here in Hong Kong.
In the summer, the temperature can get up to around 38 degrees Celsius here.
My plan is to perhaps check it every once in a while before I open the top and if there's any uncertainty I'd get them mounted on permanently.
I heard someone else mention having it on for 18 months and it's still rock steady.
I was wondering if anyone else had a longer experience with this adhesive type of windscreen?
