Thank you for the heads up, but I've read about 296 cracks. However, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't this only for the '09 models and they changed the foundation and design later, so they no longer have the problem?
Also, I asked the dealer about the car being towed. He said no, not that he knows of. If they wanted to tow the car, they would just put it into neutral (I mentioned that opening the baseplate to check for moisture and debris was peculiar, and would make more sense if it's used for transmission unlock for towing).
Only car with the color combo and options I like. Maybe finding that "perfect" vehicle is not possible when doing pre-owned...
