Kidding aside, I thought you could torque brake launch in all torque-converter automatics. Or does the F30 have a mode for it where the ECU limits you to 2,000RPM prior to the slip/launch. |
One of my prior cars had 81 miles on the odometer when I took it to HPDE at Sears Point
F30 can spin the tires launching from 2000rpm so no need for anything more extreme. Too bad it runs out of power at higher speed though, like the E89.. It is so easy to get jaded and think 12lb/hp is insufficient
Pretty sure it isn't software limit, just the stall on the torque converter.
