Anyone ever had this happen? Coming home from a drive to the coast here in Northern Calif wine country during a heat wave yesterday afternoon and ambient air temp readout started climbing all the way to 118 degrees by the time I reached home. At the same time, the oil temp gauge was actually reading slightly lower than normal. Turns out the temp at home was actually about 98 degrees; so the car readout was 10 degrees high!
