Think I might have answered #1 myself, but someone please confirm.

There are 2 "types" of TPMS (most common ones anyway)

Part # 36106790054 - Which is for all vehicles 2011 and up
and Part # 36236781847, which is for 2006-2010.

and these Part #s are universal across the BMW line.

That is to say, all 2011+ BMW (be it the Z4, M3, 7 or 1) use Part # 36106790054.

Is this correct?

Edit: How are the Part #36106790054 different from the BMW RDE012 sensors?
Edit: I think I got it... RDE 012 is the model # for the Beru TPMS, which are the ones that are re-branded by BMW to be Part #36106790054, yes?
