I guess it depends on the type of damage... but for my scratch, it worked well.

After the repair, you can only tell that there was a mishap when examining it from a certain angle (where you can see that the paint finish was marred) since the Dr. Colorchip paint doesn't fill the scratch completely. Looking at it straight on - I had a hard time finding the blemish... and I knew where to look.

I think this process works best with fairly small, very shallow chips or scratches.

All told, I was impressed. Unusual for me, since I tend to be pretty cynical of these type products.

One thing is for sure... it couldn't have been easier to use.
