I added some felt to the rubber stops on the cast roof mechanism, that stopped it hitting so hard it sometimes bounced!
I have a new issue though that I temps of 28+C there is a loud clack noise as if something is catching when the roof clamshell locks into place at the end of a close cycle. It's like the mechanism twists when it gets hot outside , the clamshell sits up a few mm on one side. Can't figure it out.
I'm done worrying with it, if it breaks it can go in under extended warranty.
