I just tried this on my 2011 Z4, and I'm one of the folks that THINKS it made a difference, although I haven't ruled out the placebo effect. But the throttle response definitely feels different, and that's what I want to believe :-)

BTW, there are conflicing procedures if you follow all the links. Some say to just press the accelerator for five seconds. Others say to press it for at least 25 seconds. Some say to press the START button one time. Others say to press it TWICE until all the lights turn on, etc.

In short, I've tried them all to be safe, so if ANY of them worked, I'm sure I applied it.

Some of the posters say that if you listen carefully, you should be able to hear the tranny resetting itself (after about 25 seconds). I have never been able to hear anything, though.

Let me know what others think.
