actually, the quality stands behind a series 3. but again, this might be due to extended leather option, so need to see without this option. Also, roadster customers usually attach less importance to soft-commands / plastics than in a more traditionnal car such as series 3. marketing guys know that. more important i think is how cabin is put together, especially in a roadster.
and car is indeed georgous (inside / outside)

as for audio, sales guy did not know. they get very little information on car, and car was not even officially presented. given the high level of equipement of the car, would suspsect that it was embarking top audio system. my experience is that premium audio are not optimised to the full in roadster as there is no room for rear speakers and cabin very cramped.

must say tempted to trade my car and order one z23 for may.
but risk of having glitches in 1st production year. Also, wonder what engine offer will be after launch. seems that bmw is working on downzised engines (as audi did with TT), and might shadow for ex the 323i one year only after launch (resale value ?).
