The photo shows where the "pins" are, that's where you want to use your plastic trim tool. I started at the bottom and worked my way up each side, once you can get your fingers in there you really can pull, as long as you are pulling straight away they won't break. My experience was that the second one took less than the half the time of the first one because you'll know just where to pull and have confidence to just pull them off.
