I think when people in this forum say 18s are better is because they are for daily driving and cruising.

Coming from an e46 I can say hands down performance was better in every aspect with my 19's. I consider my z more of a cruiser than true sporty.
Really? I always thought that the larger the wheel, the more the weight, and rotational mass is the worst kind of weight, no? Not sure about brakes, just talking about what makes a car go faster....otherwise, F1 cars would be running mags, but their wheels are small relative to the tires.
