The retracting hard-top is also an important factor, since I am living in Philly - 3-4 months of horrible weather. Also I have never had a car with soft top before so I am not sure how good it is if you don't own a closed garage and for security of the car and also during winter... But I have driven the Z4 M a few times (also the old M3) and I love that engine, it is not as quick as the new M3 but I think it is still more than athletic enough for urban environment. I guess I will have decide this way or another soon before summer comes so that the z4 m prices do not go back up again... Thanks your your comment though...
