I MUCH prefer to drive alone or by myself in a caravan with others in their cars. Long distances, short distances...doesn't matter. There's only really one friend of mine I even like to have in the car with me. I like the solitude for hours on end. I even like the way long drives alone wear me out. I'm just weird in that way, I guess.

I agree. Love to drive alone. When I had my Camaro there would be 20-25 of us heading down to the keys. Those were some good times.
