Of the 3 that have done is successfully on this thread, they all had the complete headlight assembly. That is to say, module and everything. Once you have that, then it is plug and play it would seem (and coding).
If you buy the one from eBay (which is NOT the complete headlight) just the assembly, then you would still need other parts.
flpnout just bought the headlight assembly, so have to wait to hear back from him to see if the other parts (modules, LEDs, sensors) can be re-used or if he had to purchase those as well.
