MHD works over most connections..the primary problem with the K/DCAN is it’s very slow for the initial write of the core MHD code..
I use their orange dongle which is the correct version for E series cars..
Having written probably 20+ ECU tune updates it seems pretty bulletproof…of course a fully charged battery before you start is a most excellent idea..
