A few years late on this one, but I have a USA Z4 in Portugal, now trying to get the rear fog light to work as it is required for inspection. I have installed the European switch, but not working. I believe the USA wiring only has 6 wires. BMW here in Portugal tells me that they can activate the fog light with the computer, so does anyone know how to now get the switch connected and if required, reprogrammed?
