Great minds think alike; I was thinking about doing something similar and getting 245/40/18 all around but wasn't sure about rubbing on the front when the suspension is fully compressed.
What kind of driving do you do and are you getting any rubbing in the front?

Sorry should have added another tidbit, I have these at the rears, still maintaining a staggered setup with 235/45's in the front.
Given that our suspensions can take a 19" rim with decent tire height without compromising ride quality or rubbing, you should not have a problem with the fronts.
My driving is mostly city with few spirited runs on empty road - nothing that will put suspensions to its knees but do have one quarter arc where the tail likes to go sideways if you are not careful.
