Glad BMW did this. The price is going to be a little too high though, since BMW offered a similar performance boost for the 135/335i cars at 2-3k (don't remember exact price). Along with the standard DCT, M-Sport suspension, M-Sport look, this, that... The car is definitely cost more than a M3 with DCT (and the M3 already has all the other additions). Although I understand the cars don't compete with each other, they are both BMW's pure sports cars, and it doesn't make sense for them to be priced exactly the same.

Also, what's with going from is to si to is? The X5 4.8is (many years ago), then came X3 3.0si, and now we're back to Z4 sDrive35is...can't they stick to something? Next you know, the 2016 7er comes out and it has 750iL (back to e38 years again). Or am I getting something wrong?
