UPDATE:
Dealer determined that my '12 E89 was not the subject of the recall campaign. His technician determined my increased battery discharge was due to an iPhone left for a couple of days in the cradle, keeping the car from going to sleep. They trickle charged my car, they changed the oil, they ordered a new door lockset from Germany (hinged dust cover won't spring back). They loaned me a brand new fully loaded Lincoln Navigator overnight. All in all, a positive experience, all covered under warranty. One of the reasons I drive an extra 30 miles to my current dealer, passing two closer BMW dealers.
