They have developed a Power eDrive Diesel which would arrive for implementation in vehicles like the X7 and 9er. And more likely in the mid-life cycle of the 7er and the all new X5.

I wondered why BMW hadn't used a diesel with Power eDrive, so I'm looking forward to it. Now, I just hope it's sold in the U.S. in the X5.
