The 35is basically comes with the M Sport package which includes more aggressive front and rear bumpers and the M Adaptive suspension as the most integral components. Interior-wise there are the aesthetic enhancements - M steering wheel, trim, foot rest & side sill trim etc.
Then as Dr Stig mentioned the DCT and steering programming are different. Plus a sportier exhaust.
Also you get a fatter front anti-roll bar. I recently watched a you tube vid of a 35is being driven around Imola race track shot from the interior. Body-roll looked minimal - a lot less than my 135i for sure.
And of course the extra power. As I have mentioned previously a tune will become available for the 35is eventually. A JB3 v2.0 will work for example, just needs some custom settings.
