My wife's 2010 535 did that in 2014. Dealership found that her 2.1 amp charger was the cause. We thought it was wierd since we have been using such chargers and leaving it connected for many years without any problems. We decided to just remove the charger and only plug it in when needed. Weeks later, the same warning came up. The battery was replaced and never saw the warning again.
