Here's some bullet points:

- Easy installation, approximately 30-45 minutes
- USB upgradeable as new features or compatibility fixes are released
- Workshop mode to enter "stealth mode" to prevent any issues with diagnostic equipment
- Cannot be overwritten by replacement of control modules or dealer updates
- Can be removed at anytime and sold or transferred to another vehicle
- Made in the USA

Some complex features (think macros) that the modules have simply cannot be flashed and require a separate controller - which is what the module allows.

Gentlemen, feel free to read up on the devices before making a choice.
This is why i went for the TVfree and CTMfree from Prochip:

TVfree Installation:
- Open OBD-2 connector lid.
- Connect TVfree to OBD.
- Turn on ignition.
- Press green button on TVfree-tool.
- Screen will reboot.
- Remove TVfree-tool.
- Close lid.
- ENJOY!

Time to install: 45 seconds. Time to uninstall: 45 seconds.

CTMfree:
- Easy installation thru OBD interface, takes 45 seconds. (Same as for TVfree)
- No need to update.
- No need to “hide” as there are nothing to hide. If you feel unsure about this, you can deactivate before going to service. Does not bleed your battery.
- If any related modules changed or dealer updates affect function, just reinstall.
- Made in Germany
