since car&driver says it has a launch control although they say they didnt use it for 4.8sec.
also know M3 Mdct has the launch control too. saw it on youtube, rev to about 4000rpm. but dont know how to use it.
I still think the trick is on the DCT stick. I know E46 M3 SMG's launch control is like hold it down at 1st gear....rev....release the stick. (no brake tho) probably same on E60 M5 SMGIII.
same meaning in other automatic is like put it in N....rev....in to 1st gear off go. (no brake too, but never do this on other automatic, it burns the transmission)
