It's not a standard everyday tool for everyone, so I wouldn't try to order a whole lot of them.

The end of it looks like its an Allen or maybe hex key. I'm not sure a 5MM rod would work, it must engage a screw of some sort. I will try to find more info to make my own tool if possible.
