Sorry to drag up and old post...
...so the saga continues
The garage I left my z4 at back in December last year - still have it !!
They are saying they can not get to the switch which is faulty AND BMW have told them the only way is to destroy the roof lining !!
Is this right ?
Apparently BMW just replace the roof lining when doing this repair !!
They are now trying what Jarvis suggested - trick the CTM with the replacement switch though I think.
