Roads here are constantly being improved and generally pretty good, taxes are low compared to other places, cost of living is low and pay is pretty substantial. No complaints. Also the local food is amazing and so is the countryside if you're into fresh air and green landscapes.
Wife has a decent job 15 min from home, and she wont agree to move to countryside anyway. I am about 30 min from downtown
