I think they are a bit gaudy
also, if you are too worried about messing them up because they are expensive... then you are probably shouldn't buy them.
Real ballers would buy two pairs.
I remember sitting in a cafe in NY and saw a guy wearing $350 common projects. They were all white leather ones. The kicker? It was raining outside and he just didn't care. That's another level. Wearing expensive shoes and treating them like they are just shoes.
