One place I forgot to mention is the
Grauer Bär (or grey bear)... its a nice old school hotel on the shores of the Kochelsee(lake). I have had dinner here a few times.
But what I found really interesting was near the restaurants bathroom(s) they had all these vintage hill climb photos from the 30's of Hans Stuck Sr. and all the other famous racers from that Silberpfeil years. I was fascinated by those old fotos. And what was even cooler was that those cars had raced around the lake in those years before WWII. I'm a big fan of the Silberpfeil cars.
