I know that even if I did fly to California to view the car, I would not have been able to perform the sort of inspection that AVUS Autosport put the car through.
In the report, they stated that normally only 20% of inspections result in a recommendation that the customer purchase the car.
The manager told me that "We would buy that Z4!" which seemed like a pretty good recommendation.
